Our

STORY

Indra was born in Punjab, India's Northwestern state, and moved to England with her family before making a final stop in our very own North Bay.

Indra's Curry House was started by a family passionate about sharing authentic Indian food with the North Bay community.

Indra's favourite dish is Chicken Korma, if you haven't tried it yet, you should - after all it is the chef's  recommendation.

Since

2008

When the family moved to North Bay over 30 years ago, they opened a popular restaurant, which you might remember - King's Head Pub. This restaurant was open for 20 years before Indra decided to retire.

This entrepreneur soon found out that her career as a chef wasn't over just yet. 10 years ago Indra's Curry House opened a whole new style of cuisine to the citizens of North Bay.

Tradition & Creativity

The food served at Indra's is made by following recipes that have been passed down through generations. Indra's Curry House serves authentic Indian cuisine straight from the foothills of the Himalayas, an area known worldwide for Tandoori Chicken.

Indra combines authentic spices straight from Northern India. She incorporates fresh, locally sourced ingredients into age-old recipes to give you a taste you might have otherwise found in the Himalayas.
